For this artistic fencing project, Trevor Dahl created ten hand-drawn designs that distill Park City’s ecology and mining history into a whimsical, symbolic visual language. The imagery was developed specifically for the newly expanded Park City Municipal Athletic & Recreation Center, balancing playfulness with a strong sense of place. Each design was optimized for structural integrity and translated into 5' x 8' panels of laser-cut Corten steel. Garth Franklin (Franklin Woodworking) led all aspects of fabrication, welding, and installation, transforming the illustrations into a durable, functional artwork fully integrated into the site’s architecture and aesthetic.
