A community-involved mural for Midvale Elementary. I began the project with an assembly for the 4th & 5th graders, talking about my art and murals in general. I had the kids draw pictures throughout the week during their art class. I sorted through 100+ drawings and improvised the mural design. Almost all of my doodles were directly inspired from the students. I then led a volunteer activity of over 50 adults, students, and parents to color in the mural together.
